Since 1982, Word of Life has been running a hotel in the Nahuel Huapi National Park that has become a popular holiday destination for many, mainly because the surrounding natural wonders. In summer, the hotel is mainly used as a popular destination for school trips, where about 30 to 60 young people from 11-15 years of age with their teachers visit the property each week. In addition do sports activities and excursions, we emphasize the importance of God’s Word. Our focus is to share the Gospel and help the teenagers grow in their personal relationship with the Lord.
At this time, our team is always interested in volunteers who can not only help in various areas of work and gain valuable experience, but also see and experience one of the most beautiful areas in Argentina.
FAQ
The service at Hotel Pichi starts every year in early October and lasts until mid-November.
Anything from one week to three months is not a problem. Any longer you will have to get a visa.
Depending on your talents and interests, there are many work areas to get involved in. No matter your level of experience there are always areas to get involved in.
It is not necessary but a basic knowledge of Spanish is always helpful.
The hotel has 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms where you will be accommodated.
The overall cost would be about $300 a month. These costs include food and lodging, as well as the airport transfer. However, we recommend to have some pocket money for other expenses such as the kiosk, for example.
